Longarone, 7 September 2017 – De Rigo, one of the world’s leading eyewear companies, and FILA Luxembourg S.àr.l., owner of the FILA® brand Globally, announce the renewal of the licence agreement for the design, production and distribution of FILA® branded eyewear frames and sunglasses in EMEA, the Americas, Australia and New Zealand.
The collaboration between the two companies has been extended to 2023, confirming and consolidating the partnership first launched in 1996. With double digit growth in turnover in 2016 and a positive start to 2017, FILA® branded eyewear plays an important role in De Rigo’s brand portfolio. The key to the brand’s success is its positioning as a designer brand product, in a well-defined market segment.
The license agreement will enable both companies to focus on the shared values and strengths of product quality and performance characterised by the brand’s Italian heritage and style.
