To celebrate the 2025 edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard pays tribute to its longstanding bond with cinema through a special edition of the Red Carpet eyewear. Designed by De Rigo Vision for the Maison, this jewel-like creation honors the prestigious film event taking place from May 13 to 24, 2025, continuing a tradition that blends fashion, art, and exceptional craftsmanship.
As an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival since 1998, Chopard shares with the event a deep connection rooted in style and creativity. Each year, the Maison not only crafts the Palme d’Or and the official prizes awarded during the closing ceremony, but also enhances its contribution with unique creations such as the Red Carpet eyewear, designed to bring the elegance and allure of cinema into everyday life.
A true highlight of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, the new limited-edition Red Carpet eyewear draws inspiration from Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie necklaces. Featuring a rimless geometric front, the model is crafted with 23-carat gold-plated temples and acetate temple tips. The sides are adorned with an exquisite handcrafted floral motif, set with 58 zircons of different cuts, while the Chopard monogram and logo on the temples add a distinctive and sophisticated touch, reinforcing the brand’s identity.
Available in only 499 numbered pieces, this exclusive eyewear celebrates the 499 roses that bloom in May—the month of the festival—in the garden of Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director.
Each pair comes with a sophisticated black leather clutch, enhanced with tone-on-tone stitching, a gold chain, and an elegant 3D metallic ‘C’ logo.
The model is available in two elegant variations: one in glossy black 23-carat gold plating with black diamond-cut zirconia and smoky lenses, and another in polished 23-carat gold plating with clear zirconia and smoky lenses enhanced with golden reflections.
Available at Chopard Boutiques and select optical stores, the Red Carpet eyewear is a symbol of the timeless creativity of Chopard and the enchantment of the Cannes Film Festival.
