Ahead of Mother’s Day, Yalea renews its commitment to supporting women by standing alongside Medici Senza Frontiere (Italy) and its mother-and-child hospital in Khost, Afghanistan. Consistently engaged in promoting women’s empowerment, the Yalea brand of the De Rigo Group supports a project that provides safe and professional care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the early stages of newborn life in one of the most challenging contexts in the world. Every year, the MSF hospital in Khost assists thousands of births, making a concrete contribution to reducing maternal and neonatal mortality in a country where access to healthcare services remains limited. In this context, the medical and logistical staff of MSF—composed largely of women—represents the heart of a care model that combines clinical expertise, cultural sensitivity, and humanity. We believe that caring for mothers means caring for the future. With “Mothers Beyond Borders,” Yalea and the De Rigo Group reaffirm their support for a responsibility that goes beyond borders and places at its core every woman’s right to experience motherhood in conditions of safety, care, and dignity.
