De Rigo Vision SpA, a world leader in the eyewear sector, has strengthened its presence in the United States through the opening of a new subsidiary.
The new De Rigo Vision USA branch, based in Miami and entirely controlled by De Rigo Vision, is fully operational, handling sales of the Group's eyewear and sunglasses collections through opticians right across the US.
The decision stems from a broader plan to manage distribution in strategic markets directly and to integrate the group's presence in the US, where it already operates in partnership with Marr International for the sale of its sunglasses collections exclusively through department e specialty stores.
De Rigo, which is already present in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America, has thus expedited the Group's growth in the US. "Our current portfolio of brands is especially appealing to American high-end consumers requiring originality and prestige", says Michele Aracri, Managing Director of De Rigo Vision Spa. "We are certain that our new subsidiary will enable us to seize in full the considerable opportunities offered by this Country".
The eyewear and sunglasses of the De Rigo brands will make their debut at US opticians in late September.
