De Rigo Vision and Escada presented in Munich the Limited Edition ESCADA SIGHTSAVERS, in support of Sightsavers, a charitable organization
On Thursday, April 14, the Escada flagship store in Munich’s Maximilianstrasse hosted an event launching the Limited Edition ESCADA SIGHTSAVERS made to support the charity organisation Sightsavers.
After welcome speeches by De Rigo Vision CEO Michele Aracri and Escada CEO Bruno Salzer, Sightsavers Director Mark Barret presented the organization's projects aimed at preventing and treating blindness in developing countries.
During the evening the sunglass Nr.1 of the Limited Edition was raffled off to raise money for the charity, with the participation of numerous guests including actresses Lisa Martinek and Lavinia Wilson, artist Natascha Grun, actor Stefan Murr and Iris Tanz, girlfriend of director and producer Oliver Berben.
The ESCADA SIGHTSAVERS edition is limited to 999 pieces and will be available from April at Escada boutiques and selected top German opticians for € 249,-. The launch of these sunglasses in Germany is helping to raise awareness and funds for the women of Mumbai, India, who desperately need eye care to enable them to work and subsequently support their families.
