De Rigo Vision Spa, a worldwide leading company in the eyewear business, announces its direct expansion into the US and Canadian market through a Joint Venture with Marr International Group.
The Joint Venture started in August 2010 with the distribution of the brands Celine, Chopard, Givenchy and Furla, to be followed by Police, Escada, Ermenegildo Zegna and Blumarine from January 2011 onwards.
As regards Police, the key house brand of De Rigo Vision, the Joint Venture agreement that has just been signed envisages the initial distribution of its sunglasses collections, while its optical collections will continue to be distributed by the current commercial partner Eastern States.
De Rigo, which is already present in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America with its 14 direct subsidiaries and more than 80 independent distributors, had been long studying a plan to increase its presence in the most important eyewear market of the world, and has now found Marr International Group as its ideal partner.

The product lines will make their market debut with the Sunglasses collection 2011 and will be available in the most exclusive department stores and specialty stores.
