THE VIRTUAL FASHION CITY IS NOW ONLINE:
POLICE.IT
The De Rigo Group launches a new site for its famous brand name,
setting sail on the web with a captivating design

The new Police web site is now online at URL www.police.it.
The bilingual English-Italian site internationalizes the web space right from the get-go. Visiting the home page, the surfer is immediately immersed in a virtual city where everything sports the Police brand name: posters, lighted panels, taxis, and signs. The visitor is invited to interact with urban furnishings and surf as if he or she were in a virtual New York. The urban chic milieu effectively reflects the style of the products sold and makes surfing pleasurable and dynamic.
The site is designed as a tool that gives all-around knowledge about the Police world. It begins with the history of the brand name and ends with a map of the flagship stores in Europe and Asia, passing through a detailed overview of the products now available and soon to be available with a space dedicated to the brand communications campaign.
Great attention is paid to Fashion Accessories – strictly Police products - whether they be glasses, bijoux, watches, perfumes and leather objects. Navigation, always accompanied by a graphic style that strongly recalls advertising (and in perfect harmony with the on-air campaigns) reflects the emotions conjured up by a fusion of classic, street, and fashionista elements while meeting technical demands as well Always present, in fact, is an informative table on the materials used and the characteristics of the products available. Carlo Miair Filcis, ex-photographer for the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics, Coca Cola, Benetton, Campari, and other important firms, was entrusted with shooting the photos of the models.
The new Police site applies a strategy of promoting this widespread brand that seeks to transform the brand name into "Lifestyle Brand”. Police.it succeeds in synthesizing communications and emotions through a well-balanced blend of informative elements and advertising. Another plus is that the cutting-edge design of the graphics and multimedia contents are effective but never slow down navigation, affording true added value to the site.
